Each Golf Cart driver and riders will be given a wristband upon arrival allowing them entrance into the Downtown Entertainment District for Saturday, February 23, 2019 (MAXIMUM OF 4 PASSENGERS PER CART)

The most decorated golf cart will receive 4 balcony tickets for Saturday, February 23rd. Golf carts must return to Pier 21 to find out which cart won the most decorated contest. If the winning cart does not return to the pier after the parade they will forfeit the prize and the next best decorated golf cart will receive the balcony party tickets.

Utility Vehicles will be allowed, however, cannot win the Decorated Golf Cart Award. All passengers (4 max) must be properly seated. No passing of golf carts will be allowed. (ATV’s and Go Carts will not be allowed)

As the parade passes the corner of 21st and Strand, each entry will be judged based on the Zaniest, most decorated, crew and cart. The winning cart will be announced at the pier following the parade.

Only 4 persons per cart; no trailers or floats allowed

No glass, coolers, or weapons will be allowed on cart

ALL entries MUST be decorated

Any signage displayed on cart must be approved by Yaga’s Entertainment and may not conflict with official Mardi Gras! Galveston sponsors

The parade will begin at 1pm. Golf Carts will begin staging at Pier 21 at 11am. Be ready to roll at 12:30pm. Judging numbers will be handed out at staging area before the parade.

The parade will enter the district and make two laps before exiting the same way.

Riders will be allowed to exit the golf cart before leaving the district at the end of the parade, however, the driver and cart MUST exit and park elsewhere. If you brought your cart on a trailer, please re-load it before coming back to the event.

If you did not register by February 15, 2019 please bring your entry fee and the completed application to Pier 21 day of the event.
